Caja Nuestra Gente
ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE: Caja Nuestra Gente was created in 2008 as a merger of three microfinance institutions: Crear Tacna, a partner of Global Partnerships, Caja Nor and Caja Sur. The combined organization is one of the larger microfinance institutions in Peru, with a branch network serving most of the Pacific coast region. This part of Peru has a dynamic economy that includes Lima, the capital, as well as areas producing crops for export.
Caja Nuestra Gente offers individual microcredit loans to clients with a wide range of businesses, especially in commerce and agriculture. It also offers other financial services such as savings accounts and debit cards.
