This privacy policy includes important information about your personal data and we encourage you to read it carefully. We are committed to respecting the privacy of our online visitors. In this policy, “GP”, “we”, “our,” or “us” refers to Global Partnerships, a Washington nonprofit corporation.
GP only collects personal information that you choose to share with us when signing up to receive newsletters or email updates, or making charitable contributions. Any information collected on this website is used by GP solely for internal purposes and/or to communicate with you in accordance with your preferences. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your authorization. If this policy changes in the future, you will be notified and the changes will be posted here. When we post changes to this policy, we will revise the “last updated” date at the end of this page. If you wish to discontinue receiving email updates from us at any time, simply click on the “unsubscribe” link in your email, or contact us using the details below.
Online donations made to GP are processed through a third-party service, Stripe, Inc., a certified Level 1 Payment Card Industry (PCI) Service Provider. All payment information, including credit card details, is securely transmitted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption, and Stripe undergoes an annual Level 1 PCI Service Provider evaluation. GP does not store your full credit card information on its servers; all sensitive payment data is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI Data Security Standards. You may verify Stripe’s PCI compliance status on Visa’s service provider registry, and learn more by reviewing Stripe’s Privacy Policy. You will be asked to provide your name, contact information, and billing information. All information processed by Stripe is encrypted using industry-standard TLS software, as is all information on GP’s website.
All personal information gathered by GP is stored on our enterprise server, and access is controlled via active directory security so that only authorized users are allowed access to the directories and files on the server. The GP network is protected by a firewall that controls all access to the network. All users at any level are issued a user name and complex password in order to gain access to the network on our server.
GP’s website contains links to other external websites that we believe may be of interest to our stakeholders and the public. GP is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such external websites.
